If you love beautiful views and being outdoors, the San Tan Mountain Regional Park is the Queen Creek destination for you. This park has tons of trails for all types of hiking levels, so beginners and experts can both enjoy the trails. Go easy and make sure you bring water and snacks with you.
If you like you can even go horseback riding, a totally fun experience that everyone should try at least once in life. The park has a variety of trails, and some pretty steep ones if you’re up for it. Maybe not the best place to bring kids if you’re looking for a hard core hike as the trails go on for miles, but worth it if you’re on your own, with your significant other, or with a friend. This park offers up some amazing desert views and cannot be missed if you can help it.
#3, Schnepf Farms
A petting zoo, a train, fresh fruit, and mini golf are just some of the things that you can do at Schnepf Farms. There is a bit of a zoo atmosphere, but that might be because there is literally a zoo. Take your kids on pony rides or just have fun playing with bubbles. Of special note are their fresh made cinnamon rolls– get there early on a Sunday morning to make sure that you get one, because they blow Cinnabon or any other pastry you’ve had out of the water.
